Meningie Interpretive Pathway

An interpretive trail developed as a collaboration between DENR, the Ngarrindjeri Community and artist Tony Rosella. Arketype designed, produced and installed a series of interpretive pillars and cantilevered seats.

Stunning graphic design, and sleek contemporary structures sit beautifully in a natural surrounding.

Welcome to the newest member of the team, Alex Cashmore.

Alex is a brilliant structural designer with a talent for three dimensional rendering, and concept presentation.

Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre upgrade

Final touches are being put on the refurbishment of the Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre.

As well as the development of an external entry statement, wayfinding signage and large banner systems, Arketype designed and produced a 5M long reception counter with select Tasmanian Ash panelled front and high gloss white top and sides.

Thank you to the Project Team at DENR and Anthology. It was a great project to work on and we are very proud of the outcome.

....Merry Christmas from the team at Arketype

Early next year will greet us with a trip to the Flinders Ranges to install components for an upgrade to the Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre, as well as a trip to Meningie to continue work on an interpretive trail.

A new senior staff member will start work on the 1st February ...stay tuned to find out who!

We are also extremely excited to be working on the design for a major sales and information centre early in the year.

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE - TOP 10!

Designer maker John Quan is currently in Sydney for the awards night for the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award. John is a top 10 finalist with his flexible desk lamp - good luck John!

John is heavily inspired by the likes of Ferran Adria, Heston Blumenthal and Herve This. Through their re-evaluation and ongoing experimentation with food, Quan believes they have created ground breaking work that often shatters people’s notion of what food should be.

John has been working with us in a design and production capacity over the last few months.

Work in progress - reception conter, Laminate and Timber veneer work about to start!

We approach the end of the year with some exciting projects on the go.

The workshop is a buzz with the production of a 5 metre reception counter and the design studio up to their armpits in signage style guides.

There is an exciting year around the corner too!
